Recently, a delegation from Krirk University, Thailand arrived at our school on June 25th for a six-day study exchange program. This event aims to deepen educational cooperation and cultural exchange between the two schools, providing a platform for students from both sides to broaden their horizons and enhance mutual understanding.
On the arrival day, our school held a warm welcome ceremony for the delegation. Vice President Ma Kai was present and delivered a speech, expressing his warm welcome to the students from Krirk University. He also personally handed out thoughtfully prepared gift packs to each member of the delegation, conveying the school's sincere care.
During the study period, the students from Krirk University actively participated in various distinctive teaching activities at our school. They experienced the AR simulation technology at the School of Road and Bridge Engineering, gaining an intuitive understanding of the structure and principles of bridges and roads through advanced augmented reality technology. At the School of Aeronautics, students personally operated drones, feeling the freedom of flight and the charm of technology. The e-commerce live streaming course at the School of Management Engineering allowed students to experience new modes of modern marketing, while the "Chinese + Digital Precision Repair of Automobile Body Damage" project at the School of Automotive Engineering showcased advanced technologies in China's automotive engineering field. Additionally, the "Chinese + Thai Enjoyment of Intelligence - Smart Robots" exhibition and interactive experience activity at the School of Electronic Information provided students with close contact with intelligent technology.
Apart from experiencing specialized courses, the delegation also participated in a Chinese traditional handicraft activity organized by the Youth League Committee - making Chinese knots. Through weaving Chinese knots themselves, students not only improved their practical skills but also deeply felt the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
Furthermore, the delegation visited the Changchun City Planning Exhibition Hall and the Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Museum, gaining a deeper understanding of Changchun's urban planning and the technological development of Jilin Province.
On the evening of June 26th, the students from the delegation were invited to participate in our school's lawn music festival. They brought wonderful singing and dancing performances, earning rounds of applause from teachers and students present.
On June 30th, our school held a heartfelt farewell ceremony for the delegation. Leaders such as the Dean and Secretary of the International Education College were present to issue completion certificates to each student and present exquisite gifts, expressing their gratitude and blessings to the Thai students.
This study exchange program not only enhanced the friendship between Chinese and Thai students but also laid a solid foundation for educational cooperation between the two schools. In the future, Jilin Communication Polytechnic will continue to promote international educational exchanges and cultivate high-quality talents with an international perspective.
